Security in mosques

In our workshops on security and protection measures in mosques, 

we discussed the options that can ensure that services are carried out safely. 

We have put together the following measures for you:

Technical measures: 

No use of combustible materials 
Use of a fence around the building  
Close entrance gates or barriers with security locks 
Use glass that does not break or mount protective glass films 
Installation of alarm sensors with light sirens 
Install high-resolution camera systems 
Installation of sensor lighting systems and emergency lights 
Anti-graffiti protection on the outer walls 
Do not block emergency exits 
If possible, install a 2nd and 3rd escape route 


Personnel measures: 


Stewards and security at major events such as Friday and holiday prayers 
Carrying out test alarms at Friday prayers and Koran schools 
Imam as organizer in case of emergency for evacuation 
Appoint a security officer in the mosque 
Report festivals and celebrations to the police
